Greetings.
Question: What is your opinion on acid blockers?
Answer: I will never forget my first experience with acid blockers. I had a irritable bowel flareup and a doctor wrote me a prescription for them. (this was 1996 and all acid blockers were prescription only) After taking them for a week, I called the doctor and questioned him how the human body could stay healthy if it did not have acidity in the stomach. I knew that proper acid in the stomach kills bacteria and parasites, ensures proper absorption of minerals and prevents problems like the stomach bug. Since that time I have repeated often that our nations health is a walking time bomb because of these acid blocking drugs. Now after a decade, research shows acid blocking drugs are directly related to osteoporosis, and on May 11, 2010 the Chattanooga Free Press reported the latest study showing it more than doubles the risk of C Difficile bacteria infection which is the infection that killed my father one year ago. For more information on acid blocking drugs log onto www.nutritonw.com and listen to Dr Murray. (I will however say that 25% of the people on acid blockers have no choice but the remaining 75% have options but are unaware of them)
Question: I have read that most soaps are so full of toxic chemicals and need to know which ones you would recommend.
Answer: You are exactly right about chemicals in almost all skin care products. The average women ingests several pounds of questionable chemicals every year through cosmetics, soaps and tap water. My 3 favorite soaps that contain the purest ingredients found anywhere are Dr Bronner liquid Castile Soap, Bio Select Pure Natural Olive Oil Soap, and Himalaya Neem and Turmeric Cleansing bar. All of these are pure enough to eat and will do no harm.
Till next time
